Philosophy of Leisure Days – A Person-Centered Approach
At Leisure Days, we believe individuals thrive when supported to live as independently and meaningfully as possible in their community. Our Adult Day Program promotes health, autonomy, and connection through personalized support for both participants and caregivers.
We include clients and families in assessments and decision-making, offer respite and education to caregivers, and provide structured, compassionate programming that reflects each person’s strengths, needs, and goals. Through collaboration with families and health professionals, we deliver holistic care that supports well-being, dignity, and quality of life.
Our Mission
Through person-centered care we Assist dependent adults who live in the community to realize their full potential for health by providing structured recreation, socialization, exercises, a nutritious meal, and respite for caregivers

Our Programs

Our AHS-supported programs are run in three locations: Fort Saskatchewan, Leduc, and Sherwood Park

We have two family funded programs in Sherwood Park. Our Intergenerational program runs on Tuesdays and includes our Little Leisure Leaders, and our Ladies day runs on Fridays

At the end of each month all of our locations run Caregiver Support Meetings. Check with your closest location for more information.
